Kings Fantasy - Early Exploration

Based on a scene from a fantasy light novel I'm writing titled "Kings Fantasy". This illustration portrays the main character Seras Beaumont in her younger years being led by the hand beside a strange spirit that dwells within her core. The core is what houses a persons magic in this world like a second heart. Seras's core is an endless frozen ocean stretching to the horizon. Is it that she simply has no magic at all? Or is it perhaps that her magic is a boundless ocean held back by the other spirit?
